What this service is
Some snow doesn’t arrive on schedule. A storm comes in overnight and drops more than forecast. A drift closes an entrance that was clear four hours ago. Something has to be accessible at 3 AM that nobody planned for.
Our snow crews respond 24/7 during winter storm events, November through April. If you need a property cleared outside your normal service schedule, call or text.
Bismarck sits on open prairie, and wind is as much of the problem as snowfall. A lot can be plowed clean in the evening and have a drift across the entrance by morning without another flake falling. Drifting is a normal part of a winter here and it’s a common reason for an off-schedule call.
When to call
- Snowfall well beyond what was forecast
- Drifting that’s closed an entrance or drive lane since the last service
- A property that has to be accessible outside its normal hours, an early delivery, a contractor, an after-hours event
- Ice after a freeze-thaw cycle that’s made a lot or walkway unsafe

Call or text (701) 390-0630. Text is often faster during a storm, and it gives us the property address in writing.
Tell us the property and what’s needed - whole lot, one entrance, a walkway, ice on a specific surface.
We tell you honestly where you sit. If you hold a contract with us, your property is cleared before your opening hours. If you don’t, we’ll be straight with you: emergency work for non-clients is quoted at a high premium and we can only commit to it after every contracted property has been taken care of. During a major event that can be a long wait, and we’d rather say so than promise something we can’t hold to.
Plan ahead instead
Emergency response exists because storms are unpredictable, but the cheapest emergency is the one that doesn’t happen. A seasonal contract puts you on the route automatically, moves you to the front of it, and comes with a commitment to finish before you open, which is what most properties that call us at 3 AM eventually decide they wanted.

Can you come out if we’re not a regular client?
We’ll try, but it costs considerably more and we can only get to you once every contract customer is done. In a big storm that can be a long wait.
How fast can you get here?
If you hold a contract, before your opening hours. If you don’t, it depends entirely on how many contracted properties are ahead of you, and we’ll give you a real answer when you call rather than a number we can’t hold.
Do you handle drifting between storms?
Yes. Wind-driven drifting is a normal part of a Bismarck winter and one of the most common reasons for an off-schedule call.
